Arthashastra – A Case Study Competition
Powered by JK Helene Curtis | Leadership Series’15
Symbiosis Institute of International Business – SIIB presents Arthashastra – A case study competition under its flagship event Leadership Series 2015 in association with J.K. Helene Curtis Limited – a part of the Raymond Group in India. The company holds a varied portfolio of brands from the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) sector and has the following brands – Park Avenue, Premium, Monarch and Tru Tone in its portfolio. Teams will prove their genius though a triad of rounds, perked with added constraints at each level.
From Strategic Planning to Strategic Agility –
Head honchos of companies, in their heydays formulated corporate strategies that resonated over time and space. Products and markets moved through their life cycles in a sequential, orderly manner. Maybe a few generations ago, but certainly not any more. These days one cannot predict what the market will look like in a year or even six months, engaging in a lengthy planning process only wastes time and resources. Worse, it gives competitors who have already embraced strategic thinking a distinct advantage. As the famous marketing jargon goes, “you have to be where the action is”.
The study of management, self-consciousness and agility that leads to superior quality is what Arthashastra teaches us. A fact that is relevant even in today’s world.
Inviting the sharpest managers to be from -Schools across PAN India to participate, battle it out and prove their mettle.
