Being an IT engineer I’ve worked as a business analyst and a business development executive for almost 2 years. Within this span, I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to interact with clients from around more than 50 countries. This triggered my curiosity in learning and exploring the tactics of international business more closely. That was one of the prime reasons of me being at SIIB. I believe, learning is an on-going process and this philosophy is the best part I found here. Apart from the classroom learning, being one in between the diaspora of diversified peers helps you learn different perspectives altogether. Learning management by indulging in it is what you get as a student at SIIB.Events at SIIB are the best example to it. Assuming different roles right from leading an event to being in the back-end, is what I think took my skills to next level and added few more dimensions to my perspective of management. It’s a dream job of any marketer to get associated with a FMCG firm. This dream came true when I got my summer internship with one of the top FMCG giants in Africa. With this opportunity in hand, I’ll get a chance to explore yet another culture and industry which will act as a Launchpad to my career taking me a bit closer towards my goal. So, this was just the first year, with another year of my stint at SIIB, I will try to continue this pace and come out as a responsible marketer by profession and a good citizen by virtue.
