In a world where Facebook helps us to stay connected, WhatsApp texts to communicate, Tinder to find partners and Google to give all the answers to your questions, somehow I feel that there is a lack of self-understanding amongst us leading us to confusion. We don’t really know what we do, for whom we do and most importantly why. Being a commerce graduate while applying to MBA colleges for Masters, someone asked me why MBA and I had no answer. I mean if one Google searches why MBA, that person will get 100 reasons, why to do MBA and 100 reasons why not to, leading to confusion. Ultimately what matters is one’s ability and power to take decision and a wise one, but to be able to do so, one should know himself very well.It took me a year after graduation, undergoing so many irrelevant courses, to know myself little better and what I am good at, and it was then, when I decided to put up a carrier in Marketing and Communications. But I did not want to settle for just another MBA from just another college and it was this wish of mine which led me to SIIB, to pursue MBA in International marketing. And guess what, this decision in life was the best decision I have ever taken. The kind of Knowledge imparted, challenges faced, friends made, plans failed, and new opportunities acknowledged it was all worth living for. Every day in SIIB I felt alive rather than just breathing and confused. The transformation here along with help of my college was the reasonfor me getting placed with a conglomerate in Nigeria with my dream profile dealing in International markets. Over all, it was my best story that’s about to be past, but as they say, the end is just another beginning. Thank you SIIB
