After completing my graduation in Agriculture Economics (honours) from St. Xavier’s Ranchi I decided to take the MBA entrances. Unlike other friends of mine who went for courses like MBA in general management or finance/marketing/HR, I opted for Agribusiness. I had developed an interest in this field after studying agriculture economics during my graduation. Apart from that, I liked the course structure of Agribusiness a lot.
It was during my internship at this consulting firm that I realised that Consultancy and Research is the thing for me. I was ready and open to join other profiles for final placements, though.
SIIB gave me a platform and many opportunities in the span of these two years by means of both classroom learning as well as outside learning which has helped me improve myself. Those innumerable rounds of presentations, mock group discussions, and personal interviews make you a different individual. In addition to this, the college fests, campus and hostel life, inter-college competitions, conferences, workshops, other extracurricular activities are an added advantage for learning and a good stress buster too.
SIIB has made me what I am today and has helped me get over some of my biggest fears; one of them being stage fright. I am placed with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), India in Agri and Natural resources vertical as a Consultant
