Exactly a year back, while working at the office, I always had this uncertainty with respect to my MBA preparations. I, for a fact knew that I wouldn’t be struggling financially if I continue working but somewhere down the line, there was this feeling that my work wasn’t challenging me anymore. My sub conscience always told me that better things were in store if I manage to crack SNAP. With this thought, I decided that I would give it a go and see how things shape up. To think about it now, I don’t regret my decision even a tad bit. It’s been three and a half months at SIIB and saying that MBA life has been tough and challenging would be an understatement. Late night studies, never ending presentations, last minute assignment submissions have kept me away from blogging for quite a while now. Yet, as the famous saying goes, every cloud has a silver lining is what I believe in. We have had our own share of fun here at SIIB amidst the tight schedules. Battling it out against the seniors in the Independence cup across various sporting disciplines, weekend trips to Lonavala, Saturday night parties and what not!!It’s all about balancing your work.
I consider myself fortunate enough to have got the opportunity to study and interact with some of the smartest people across the country. Competing with them head on and learning from them at the same time is an experience I have been relishing so far.It is this challenge that pushes us to work harder every day.At the end of the day, when I look back, I feel that it was one of the main reasons I always wanted to pursue an MBA. Guess it’s been too much of gyaan for today. Before I sign off, to all the aspirants out there, keep your head down and keep working hard, I am sure, you’ll definitely carve a niche for yourself.
Hasta la Vista!! (PS: I am learning Spanish right now @SIIB :P)
