Life At SIIB

The MBA Entrance Examination for Admission to 15 Symbiosis Institutes in India is the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test or SNAP. To be eligible for one of the 2,500 MBA seats in Symbiosis colleges, around 1 lakh students from various academic fields—including engineering, commerce, humanities, and even law— undertake the SNAP examination each year.

The list of SNAP score accepting colleges includes some of the top MBA colleges in the country, like Symbiosis Institute of International Business, Pune, which is highly ranked among the top management institutes in India.

A candidate aspiring to join an MBA programme offered by any Institute of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) [SIU] has to take the standard, mandatory SNAP Computer Based Test (CBT), which will be conducted at the allocated test centers across 86 cities in India. The candidates need to register online on the website

The candidate must register for the SNAP Test, pay the registration fee, register for their choice of programme(s) offered by various institutes of SIU, and pay the registration fee separately for each programme.
If shortlisted for a programme, the candidate would then need to participate in that particular programme’s further admission process (GE-PIWAT).

The registration process (including the registration fee payment) for SNAP and Institutes is integrated. A candidate can complete the SNAP, programme registration, and payment on the same portal (
