SIIBRamu kaka is one of the famous characters of the Bollywood films. Having penetrated across socio economic classes, Ramu kaka is quite an iconic character in terms of resemblance to the downtrodden servant who has to do all the odd jobs without expecting any returns. This loyal servant will do everything from taking care of the house, cooking, to tolerating the arrogantsons, cleaning the dirt and all the other stuff. All this and much more at salary that is worth peanuts is the USP that makes Ramu Kaka such a favorite character of our Bollywood movies.

But, did you know that this Ramu kaka syndrome also exists in the corporate world.Yes! You will find such Ramu Kakas aplenty in the corporate sector across diverse industries in India. Management training is a rigorous academic procedure. For those of you who are still wondering about the Ramu Kaka and his whereabouts, let me enlighten you. You will find a Ramu Kaka kind of worker in every corporate. If you want to recognize the Ramu Kaka look for someone who is constantly overburdening himself or herself with extra work, regularly works overtime, silently hands over the credit for his or her work to others, and is a typical sycophant to some extent. Even mediocre managers succumb to the Ramu Kaka syndrome and end up working aimlessly on a stagnated career graph. After all, the bosses would appreciate the smart managers and forget about the Ramu Kaka.

Working on assignments, practical training and expert sessions, you are rarely left with any extra time. In fact, if you look at it carefully, the managerial training never teaches anyone to become a Ramu Kaka. This is a gradual result of young managers forgetting their basics of managerial training and therefore succumbing to the mob mentality of the corporate sector.

This trend is shocking and needs to be rectified. As the future managers of India Inc, it is imperative to understand the implications of the Ramu kaka syndrome and therefore become immune towards its after effects. The future is more in favor of the smart managers willing to rise up to challenges and accomplish their goals. Lastly, always remember you have to choose between becoming the Ramu Kaka of the organization and the manager of the firm. Be wise when you make this choice and you could transform your career.
