An MBA in International Business is incomplete without the relevant exposure. Students across Symbiosis institutes benefit the most from the theory combined with practical course structure as it helps them understand the basics in a better way. The programs conducted at Symbiosis Institute of International Business are also a part of this legacy. From organizing events to industry interface programs, the Symbiosis guys leave no stone un-turned to teach their students. After all, it is at top MBA schools like SIIB that we are able to shape the future talent pool of the country.
As part of its MBA In International Business course, SIIB applies several such innovative learning techniques. One such technique that has gained widespread appreciation from the Symbiosis Community is the use of industry visits and expert seminars. Planned visits to industry houses are the best way to give the students maximum exposure and a real time feel of the Corporate world.
In one such initiative the students from across the Symbiosis programs at SIIB got an opportunity to participate in a lecture conducted by eminent business tycon and face of India’s most loved scooter-Mr. Rajiv Bajaj. It was amazing for the soon to be managers to witness the persona that currently resembles the whole and sole of Bajaj Auto.
Rajiv Bajaj had no airs about his personality. Sharing interesting anecdotes with the students from Symbiosis, Rajiv Bajaj enlightened the participants on several key aspects of the program.
We were quite literally spellbound by the amount of knowledge that Mr. Bajaj brought to this session and the clarity with which he put it all together. Talking on diverse topics like issues dealing with “Brandology”, a concept that was developed within Bajaj Auto, importance of top MBA schools, the expectations that firms like his have from Schools like Symbiosis Institute of International Business. Other highlights of Mr. Bajaj’s session included discussions on the progress of Automobile sector in India, the type of growth they can have and above all the opportunities that young managers could look at when they stepped into the corporate world.
The Symbiosis students were treated to yet another delightful session when Mr. Rajiv Bajaj spoke at length about how the idea of the Bajaj Pulsar had come about and how it was based on the principles of marketing strategies.
